If you've followed BistoCon's fortunes, then you know that, as a young con, we depend heavily on the good will of older cons and their organizers for advice, assistance, and sharing their bandwidth. I want to return the favor and tout two of those cons that Pros fans might enjoy--they are coming up soon!
Connexions is a slash-fan con run near Washington DC in odd-numbered years. Though they started with Trek and SF, they've grown more inclusive all the time and now cover fandoms in a number of media areas. They are meeting this August, 16-18, and you can find more information about their con here: https://sites.google.com/view/connexions-south
SHareCon is a Starsky and Hutch fan con also run near Washington DC that is moving from even-numbered years to odd-numbered years in 2019. They continue to have a great con with games, panels, and fun of all kinds talking about all things related to Starsky & Hutch. They'll be gathering September 27-30 this year, and going forward in odd-numbered years in the future. If you want to learn more, take a look here to find out more about their con: http://sharecon.net/wp/
Thanks, again, to the good folks at Connexions and SHareCon for all their help through the years!
